It may look simple, and it is, but trust me, it was very demanding , to create this simplicity. I do have an issue, I don't like wrinkles, saying that, my main concern was to create the pattern cut, that even beneath the seat to not appear any wrinkles at all.
for every piece that we've bound , we used french seams technic, that way we approached as much as possible to the original look.
We used black genuine chrome tanned Italian leather ,1,6 mm thick which was tricky to sew, 'cose we want consistency (wasn't an ordinary upholstery leather after all ) waterproofed, combined with dark grey thread, to give a simple classy elegant signature look.
Certainly we are very proud with this project, it was demanding, it was a lot of time consuming, a lot of stitches but was well worth it.
