My tube bender machine does not have the right roll with the desire curvature for this task, so I bend the tube on the machine, make a cardboard template, fixed on a second role... heat, bend, heat, bend.

Hand made Aluminum front fender (Suzukaniana-project)

The panel being cut last year, hahaha, being ironic, yesterday, after the meal I gave him a good beating and finished. I don't know how I do it, but don't get rid of these curved fenders, maybe because I like this style very much.
Starting at 3 pm finished at 9 pm, break my record! I made an planishing hammer, still the English wheel, remains my personal favorite.

Ironic vorbind, la proiectul Suzucaniana tabla de aluminiu pentru aripa faţă era tăiată de un an de zile, de executat aripa s-a întâmplat să fie într-o singura zi, aici nu mai sunt ironic, după o amiaza mai exact. Nu ştiu cum fac de mă găsesc să execut doar aripi cu rază mare de curbură, o fi  poate din cauză că îmi place mult acest stil de aripi (manual nu-s uşor de executat) sau poate-s masochist!
Împins de curiozitate, am construit şi un Planishing Hammer (ciocan de nivelat), cu toate astea roata englezească rămâne preferata mea.
Suportul aripi va fi prins cu nituri de cupru, să tai mai întâi modelul pe tablă, pe moment e doar pe hârtie, vom vedea...

Leather "clothes" for my favorite book

Îmi era greu să cred că e o carte atât de râvnită şi scumpă la o adică, dat fiind faptul, tot am găsit-o, la un anticariat, unde altundeva mai găseşti cărţi vechi şi bune...
Un bun prieten mi-a downlodat şi trimis cartea în fişier PDF, dar e un chin să răsfoiesc un fişier PDF... să găsesc termeni de comparaţie în cititul unei cărti pe monitor faţă de cea pe hârtie, nu pot! 
Şi probabil nu vreau, când pot să mă "drogehez" cu miros de hârtie învechită, plăcerea de a o răsfoi cu grijă, fizic şi nu "fictiv", recunoscător, sau nu, tehnologiei zilei de azi.
După aparenţe ar fi a treia "mân" ca stăpân al acestei cărţi, "Manualul Strungarului" de G. BIBER, prima ediţie tipărită în 1967, (an al începutului acelei perioade de glorie). Tot acelaşi autor a publicat în 1977 vol. II, e aceaşi carte doar cu unele îmbunătăţiri şi date tehnice mai evoluate.
Nu am putut trece neobservat, fără să-mi las amprenta, să fiu recunoscător, să dau dovadă de un gram de respect faţă de cei care au avut-o înaintea mea, care au avut grijă de ea şi au păstrat-o în condiţii atât de bune atâta vreme.
Ar spune cineva: e doar o carte măi!
Se prea poate!

It is hard to believe, but it's a book so searched for, and expensive, I could hardly believe, I found her, to  an old books library, where else may find good books. It appears that I'm the 3-a hand owner of this book. It's the first edition "Manual strungarului" G. BIBER - published in 1967.
I could leave it that way, it is one of the basic books for my future skills, I had to give my contribution, to show my respect, for the book itself, for the people who have it, had used it, and made sure to be in such a good conditions after so much period of time.
